The Pamela Benbow Campaign
A Spayathon was carried out in honour of Pamela Benbow for her love of cats in 2022. 50 cats were spayed and neutered reducing the number on the streets by millions over one cats lifetime. A female has kittens...the kittens have kittens and so on.
Cats in Recovery
During an operation a cats temperature can become low due to a reduction in body warmth under anesthesia. Cats take longer to recover from surgery than dogs so are more susceptible to temperature fluctuations. They are seen here with heated pads underneath them plus blankets and hot water bottles. Cats can take up to two hours to wake up from the anesthesia.
