Mobile Spayathons
Animal Spay and Neuter International also carries out Mobile Campaigns in the field. A large mobile hospital in the form of a converted Caravan is used to spay and neuter in local communities around Bucharest. Animals are either brought to the spayathon by local people or our "Kindness Patrol" team will go out and tranquilise stray dogs with a blow pipe and take them back to the campaign for spaying and neutering. This is a new Trap,Neuter and Release (TNR) as apart of the Kindness Patrol Project. The Kindness Patrol Project is a new way of both treating and sterilizing stray dogs. If a stray animal is brought back to the medical team that needs treatment this will be carried out either by them or the dog will be transported back to the Center of Hope. If the animal is rehomeable then once recovered he/she will be rehomed by our sister charity and Dutch partners Stiching Le Woef in Holland.
